Singaporeans the safest and cleanest city in the world? I don't know, after Mumbai you immediately notice how clean everything is, no rubbish on the floor, rubbish bins everywhere, which even look great. But that was actually the case in Dubai. And of course, after Mumbai I am particularly happy to see a clean city and nature.
But first of all, sorry you had to wait so long for the blog, but I just had a lot of great experiences and hardly any internet. But it was also a great feeling that a few of you asked “whether I would continue writing.” Thank you 🙂

Now that I have arrived in Singapore, I have to find my accommodation again, but this time a hotel. Not one of these 5 star top hotels with luxury, but cheap and located in the old part of the city. But that's not a problem here, after all it's supposed to be the safest country. This time I didn't look for outside help for the route, I just tried Google Maps, and yes, it works very well. Quickly found the metro and bus station and off we went. We went to the hotel for 2.40 SGD (3.20 euros). More expensive than Mumbai, but still much cheaper than Germany.
When we arrived at the hotel we were once again pleasantly surprised and everything looked fine. Just put your things down for a moment and then explore the area on foot. Supermarkets, restaurants, everything you need. Then I bought water etc. for the room, oops 12 euros. That will get you back to Mumbai for a week? So get used to it quickly. In the evening we went for something to eat and went to the hotel so that I could be fit for the next day.
Good morning from Singaporeans, oh it's raining really hard, but nothing to do with seeing the skyline? Luckily the weather didn't last long, and an hour later there was beautiful sunshine.
So first go to Haji Lane and see what makes this shopping street so special. Wow, I'm impressed, the shops and houses are beautifully painted with motifs or even built as motifs.
So off to the new and modern city, the well-known Sand Bay Hotel and the other great buildings want to be visited.

That was it for day two in Singapore, a lot of walking and once again realizing that old can be more interesting than new.
For the last day in Singapore we went to a park. There are said to be wild monkeys and other animals here. Fortunately, there is a station at the entrance where I can lock up my luggage so I don't have to carry everything with me, which is great. But what you look for here in vain are WiFi networks, of course the monkeys don't have cell phones either. The nature here is really beautiful and I'm always looking for a few monkeys, but it's not that easy to see them. That's where trick 18 comes in, take a few bananas out of your backpack and let's see what happens.
That wasn't a good idea at all, suddenly 7-9 monkeys come running towards me and you feel strange at first. And of course the animals are fixated on your bananas, so throw them away quickly because the monkeys will fight over them. So these animals are really cheeky, they tear at your bag and steal from you, now I'm not so sure anymore if they don't already have cell phones?

But everything went well for me and the animals fled into the trees with their banana prey. So I was able to go back in peace and take the bus to the airport.
What is my conclusion about Singapore, nice clean city, you feel safe everywhere except the park?, but 2 days are completely enough.
So that's it about Singapore and next you'll find out what I experienced in Bali. As a little foretaste, here too the local people really impressed me. But you'll find out more in the next blog
