Dirk accompanied me on my trip to Singapore.
Even though we could have discussed and booked everything online, I thought it was very good that we met at his place in Mallorca beforehand. So we were able to get to know each other beforehand and plan everything personally. I mean, what's the point of having the "most beautiful pictures" when you're sitting with a weirdo on the other side of the world?!.
We had a barbecue and went over my plans. It was like a barbecue with a friend and I shared my vision with him. However, he was better prepared than a friend and complemented my trip with his photographic eye using unspeakably beautiful places that I didn't know.

We also discussed “I’ll pack my backpack and take with me..”. Here too I was able to benefit from valuable tips as Dirk is very experienced.
It was important to me that we had a framework, but not rushed through Singapore, as I had to balance leisure and work on the trip.
Dirk accompanied me on my business meetings and was even able to record him with my consent, so we were not only able to record our spots but also my business meeting. Because we didn't even notice Dirk, unspeakably authentic images were created, which are now used for marketing purposes. Nevertheless, I have to admit that my favorite pictures were taken in the unplanned situations.

As the saying goes, “Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.”
For example, one morning I had a desire to see monkeys... Because the evening before we happened to be talking to locals and were talking about a reserve where some had already been spotted. Even though Dirk was amused by my motivation to buy bananas, he of course accompanied me.
After walking through the rainforest for some time (me with a banana in my hand) we agreed that we would walk a bit more and finally turn back. Fascinated by nature and black butterflies, Dirk's angry voice suddenly broke me out of my thoughts: "Christinaaa! Give him the banana immediately!" -Huh. Banana?! I'm sorry, what?!

In front of us, a monkey strutted towards us confidently like King Loui.
In a panic, I finally threw the banana at him. There was a rustling noise and a whole flock of monkeys jumped out of the trees. They could have ambushed us, but they didn't. Even though I personally only had “monkey” in my head, Dirk captured everything. We then observed them in their natural environment, with the baby monkeys being the highlight.

Singapore, at night, simply a fantastically beautiful skyline!
Dirk not only surprised and convinced me with his contrast... because on the one hand I have professional entrepreneurial pictures and on the other hand street art pictures that I could never have imagined. Dirk is a very valuable travel companion because he is simply experienced and very pleasant in person. He is creative and funny, but I would describe him more as introverted, i.e. not intrusive or loud, babbling like a waterfall, bitchy or conspicuous, he radiates calm and accompanies you when you want to go into the forest with bananas to attract monkeys. I definitely already know who will accompany me on my next trip.
What is my conclusion about Singapore, beautiful clean city, you feel safe everywhere, except for the park?
